Thank you so much for posting! I was searching and searching, but I thought it was going to be a mouse driver. I didn’t realize it was a Firefox setting.

Aha, now I look a little deeper and it IS a software issue. Hmm, now how to turn it off in Chrome …

But Firefox was the main culprit. Thanks again for taking the time to post.

thank you, thank you, thank you. I just bought a new mouse for this very reason, turns out the scroll click is even more sensitive on this one.

Yeah, Auto-Scroll is pointless and if anything inconvenient. Why would anyone suggest buying a new mouse when this solution does the trick? lol

Thank you so much! I have been so annoyed with the scroll wheel clicking and going into the ‘autoscroll’ state.

Now if I could only turn it off in all my other applications too…
